Earlier this month while visiting Yosemite I got out early to experience the valley floor in the morning. As I walked out into the meadow at 6AM I saw the moon above El Capitan (and captured that first photo with my iPhone).
Walking back to the car an hour later I glanced up and saw the moon as it was just about to disappear behind the granite peak of El Capitan and captured this image. I had to maneuver around trees and branches to get a clear view but really like this image.
