While visiting Yosemite National Park last weekend, my wife pointed out a bird in a tree above us. I looked up and saw it appeared to be a raptor but the branches were blocking any clear view.
I moved down the trail so I could get a clear view and captured several photos of this magnificent creature. I was able to capture this moment where it was looking directly at me. Though the bare branches are somewhat distracting I also believe they add a clear sense this was in Autumn.
