Pelican on the Pier

I captured this stately bird on the railings of Stearns Wharf Pier in Santa Barbara. Judging by the comments from the locals fishing on the pier, this bird is a regular visitor and is very happy to receive handouts 🙂

I like the pose the Pelican “gave me”, the colors of the water and the sky with the masts of the boat in the harbor in the background, lending the the feel of the scene.
