In a small village in Northern Laos (that took hours to get to on a very bumpy road in a 4-wheel drive jeep) we walked around and got to experience a little of the life for the local people. There were several children running around and playing throughout the village.
I captured this photo of two boys who paused in their play to talk with each other. They are “hanging out” on the side of one of the homes in the village and you can see the influences of life outside the village with the prints on their shirts (the Chinese government subsidized satellite TV into the homes).
Without knowing very much of the lives of these young boys I delight in their sparkel in their eyes and the smiles on their faces.
