This is a close-up of the features on a door into the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple in Singapore. I like the rich texture of the hardware on the door. The composition shows a daunting entry way (maybe keeping evil spirits out) but also with the open doorway and the entrance to the main temple building in the background invites you into the scene. I even feel like the crack in the door and the marks (scratches) next to it adds some character to the scene.
