While visiting the missions in San Antonio, Texas I captured several photos that I am happy with. This image was captured while walking around Mission Concepción, founded in 1731.
I am often drawn to arches in architecture (just noticed the root in the word is arch). The sky was a perfect puffy cloud with blue sky kind of day. I wish I would’ve captured the palm tree fully in the arch but there must’ve been a reason I did not or could not. Anyway, I sill enjoy the composition, the light and shadows and texture of the stone of the mission.
