If you review my work you’ll see a lot of sun shots – sunset and sunrise. I am captivated by the amazing colors of the sky and the sea at these special times of the day.
I captured this image as the sun set over the Pacific Ocean from our favorite hotel on the Kona Coast on the Big Island of Hawaii. I love how the sun sits like a shining ball just above the horizon , with the sky, the clouds, and the ocean all ablaze. The palm peeking in from the right side of the frame adds a nice element to the moment.
