On our trip to Oahu, Hawaii earlier this month we stayed at a hotel on the beach in Waikiki that had a wonderful view, a wrap around balcony that included the sea as well as the mountains.
I captured this image at sunrise looking over Kapiolani Park with the Koʻolau mountain range in the background. I love the think green belt of the park with a number of palm trees raising above, unmistakably tropical… with the silhouette of the mountains far behind and a small collection of the tall Waikiki hotels at left.
