We had a wonderful adventure, trekking through the green rice terraced hills in Northern Vietnam, specifically in Sa Pa. We walked along unpaved roadways and narrow paths through the rice fields and bamboo forests with the expert guiding from Sapa Sisters (women owned tour provider which we highly recommend). I captured this photo while on our walk one day. I like that you get a clear sense of the hilly terrain, the rice terraces below, an old farmers home and the roadside sign.
